Mark enjoys a successful career as a first call studio drummer and live performer with his band . Loving both sides of the recording industry - creative and business - Mark partnered a small home studio in 1987 called . In 1995 Mark merged Studio 534 with and for the next seven years had great success out of this vintage studio haven. As of July 2003 in Hamilton has been the home facility of New Century Productions. Grant Avenue Studios was built by Daniel Lanois in the 70’s and has been part of music history recording the likes of U2, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan and Gordon Lightfoot.
As a drummer and producer he has performed on over 70 albums with such diverse artists as Sony rocker , Epic Records alternative hip-hopper , European Jazz favorite , and Contemporary Christian artist .
Mark's film and TV work has been quite diverse; from acting as Music Studio Liaison on the soundtracks for such recent films as and to drumming on episodes of to writing and producing projects for , and two children’s productions - , which is broadcast around the world, and now, home-video release .
Mark has received a and a in recognition for the original music featured in the DVD released on Sony Red.
Joe started his own company, in 1992 where he honed his skills in vintage analog recording and embraced the then-new digital technologies. Joe has been 1st engineer with New Century since 1996. His attention to detail and tireless work ethic are second to none. It's no wonder Joe has been a part of 17 winning or nominated projects. Having worked with such diverse artists as , Christian children's group , jazz legend and polka king , it is clear that Joe thrives on creative challenges and truly appreciates all styles of music.
Sue began writing and presenting for radio and video in 1992. Having worked in broadcast (), commercial () and corporate () situations, she is skilled at adapting her style to the client's material. At the age of 24, Mike Enns has already found his niche in the video industry. Since 2002 Mike has produced over 200 video shorts ranging from topical interviews and parody vignettes to documentaries and music videos. In 2004 and 2005 Mike has created the video bumpers for the Canadian Gospel Music Awards.
Currently, Mike’s partnership with New Century as a live music DVD producer gives him the opportunity to incorporate his talents as a professional musician and graphic designer. Mike’s artistic eye enables him to capture the authenticity of a performance, while his technical savvy in editing and graphics, complete the package, resulting in cutting edge live DVD productions.
Joe has been designing and developing websites for over 16 years and working with New Century for more than 13. After living and breathing the starving artist/musician lifestyle for several years, his first position out of school as Web Marketing Manager for a small Indie Record Label (Formerly Blue Summit Records - Stumble Records) was a perfect fit. While he still stays active as drummer/percussionist for some Waterloo area bands (Petony, P.O.T.B.) he spends most of his time designing and developing web applications.
